VOID SURVIVORS is a top-down endless survival shooter that runs entirely in your browser. You are dropped into the center of an infinite dark grid as enemies pour in from all sides. Your weapon fires automatically — your only job is to move, dodge, and survive.
Each enemy you defeat drops experience orbs. Collect enough and you level up, gaining the choice between three random upgrades. Stack upgrades across multiple pickups to build toward powerful, game-defining combinations. The waves keep coming, enemies scale in strength, and there is no cap — you fight until you fall.
Built entirely with vanilla JavaScript using the Canvas 2D API and Web Audio API, VOID SURVIVORS has zero dependencies and requires no installation. Open the page in any modern browser and start playing instantly.
Get started in seconds
Move your character using the WASD or arrow keys — diagonal movement is fully supported. Your weapon automatically targets and fires at the nearest enemy within range. There is no manual aiming or shooting required; your focus should be entirely on positioning and survival.
Defeat enemies to collect XP orbs that appear when they are destroyed. When your XP bar fills completely, you level up and gain the choice of three random upgrades. Each upgrade provides a stacking bonus, and you can select the same upgrade multiple times to amplify its effect.
The goal is simple: survive as long as possible and achieve the highest score. New waves begin every 45 seconds, bringing faster, tougher enemies.

Five things to know before your first run
Keep moving at all times. Standing still is the fastest way to get surrounded and eliminated. Constant motion is your best defense.
Prioritize Nanite Repair Siphon early. Health regeneration is crucial for surviving extended engagements, especially in the first few waves.
Do not neglect Optic Array Expansion. Increasing your targeting range lets you engage enemies before they get close enough to surround you.
Every level-up restores 25% of your HP. Time risky engagements around your level-up progress to get a free heal when you need it most.
Prepare for Bosses at Wave 6. These crimson enemies have extremely high HP and deal massive damage. Build your upgrades accordingly.
